We are interested in wildcats of all kinds.
New cartridges are born every day. Every time a factory introduces a new cartridge case gunsmiths and hobbyists everywhere start reworking it for their special project. Sometimes there is a real mechanical reason for a wildcat, like a combination of gun and caliber that is not available from the factory. Other times the reason for a new cartridge may be as simple as because it is just plane fun to concoct your own cartridge.
On this blog and on our parent web site both historical and new cartridges are welcome. There is a huge amount of gun history that is slipping away as the most prolific generation of wildcatters are leaving the range to be with their Creator.
